Bihar DGP suspects connection between suicide cases of Sushant Singh Rajput and his ex-manager Disha Salian

Ever since Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on June 14, there have been speculations that the actor’s death has some connection with the suicide of his ex-manager Disha Salian. Disha had jumped off the 14th floor of a building in Malad on June 8, six days before Sushant took the extreme step.

Sushant’s roommate Siddharth Pithani earlier said that the news of Disha’s death had disturbed the actor and that he was continuously tracking news channels. He said that the actor had started crying and that he even asked him to stay in his room. It has also been reported that Sushant feared being implicated in the case of Disha’s death.

Bihar DGP Gupteshwar Pandey, in an interview with Times Now, has said that he thinks that there is a connection between the suicide cases of Sushant and Disha. The top cop, however, added that he did not have confirmed information on the same.

Pandey further said that the Bihar Police didn’t have any documents related to the case except the FIR filed by Sushant’s father KK Singh. He added that he was certain that the Mumbai Police will extend complete help in the collection of evidence and investigation in the case.

In the FIR, Mr Singh accused Rhea and her family members of some serious crimes including abetment of suicide. He said that Rs 15 crore were transferred by Rhea from Sushant’s bank account to accounts that had no relation with his son. He questioned as to why Sushant was stopped from pursuing organic farming by the actress. He also said that his son was made to feel that he was mentally unstable by Rhea and her family members.

Meanwhile, Sushant’s fans and some of his Bollywood colleagues have demanded a CBI probe in the case.
